A dreamy rose garden in fenway

Looking for a fairytale liked experience or a picnic spot for the Spring? This post might just be for you!

The Kelleher Rose Garden is a small, charming garden with a variety of rose bushes, statues, a fountain and arched trellises.

This downtown park in the Back Bay Fens opened in 1931 and features over 1,500 roses behind tall green hedges. It retains its secret garden feeling, despite being located in the middle of the neighborhood, minutes from Boylston Street and Fenway Park.

The Designer

The garden was designed by Arthur Shurcliff, who later worked under Frederick Law Olmsted - the designer of both the Fens and Central Park in New York City.

It’s completely free to visit and it’s open during Summer to the public from 7am to 5pm daily through October.

Location: 73 Park Dr, Boston, MA 02215
