modern supper club at yvoone’s

Tucked away on a side street in Downtown Crossing, Yvonne’s is one of the most instagrammable restaurant and bar I've ever been to in the city. After walking passed the small reception area you will find yourself in a glamorous scene of well-ornate space with chandeliers, contemporary paintings, and classy atmosphere. That was how I felt during my first visit and it’s even getting better on my second!

Their drink menu is impressive and fun to explore. One of the drinks we ordered is ‘Paper Crane’ — Japanese Whiskey mixed with Hojicha, Amoro Nonino, Bitter Aperitivo, and Yuzu. On top of that, it even came with an actual tiny paper crane!

There are three rooms with different energy at Yvonne’s. The lounge area sports red Chesterfields, a brass light fixture, and groups of young professionals meeting for after-work drinks. The dining room has chandeliers, the aforementioned mahogany bar, and is the room with the highest energy. And then there is the library, the most interesting spot that had me in awe. It seems to me that Yvonne’s tried to capture every interest of every individual; whether they are here for a night out, a romantic dinner or a fun drink among friends.
